I fell in love with the beauty and quirkiness that the state of Rhode Island and the URI campus offers.
One of the most meaningful experiences of college for me so far has been joining my campus’s mock trial program. The people on my mock trial team have truly become like family to me and I could not imagine my life without them.
A mentor once told me, “If there is anything in life to be selfish about, it is your own education.” Your college decision is a prime example of that.
Now that we are (actually) going to college, and Zoom life is gone for now (thank God!), making sure that you are safe around campus is crucial.
The reason I chose to become an Aggie was because from middle school to high school I’ve only attended predominately white schools, and I wanted to try something new.
I chose WSU, after doing a campus tour my senior year of high school and immediately fell in love with all the beauty the Palouse has to offer! (Especially the killer sunsets)
It has been tough to make this decision because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to go so far but once I went to visit the school, I fell in love and knew it was the right choice.
