oming to college was a last-minute decision for me as it wasn’t my intended plan after high school due to a lack of funding, motivation, and preparation.

There is one piece of the application that many students do not know contributes to the decision-making process — demonstrated interest. 

Since I moved to OSU, I have flourished as an individual and stepped out of my comfort zone in every aspect of my life. I am grateful for this university because everyone I’ve met has been extremely supportive and encouraged me to pursue my dreams.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with the Pocono Mountains United Way and help the underprivileged by doing their taxes during the 2020 tax season. This experience helped me to understand the hard work and productivity of tax accounting and helping those who live in the community. ⁠

Hi, my name is Etsub Solomon. I am a freshman at Georgia Southern University and I am majoring in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner. I chose Georgia Southern University because they have one of the best nursing programs and it is very close to Savannah Beach.⁠

I’m so grateful for the opportunities CSN has provided me. My goal since I was little was to be a collegiate softball player and the coaches here helped me achieve this goal. I’ve become a much better athlete and person since being here! They have taught me so many life lessons and helped me because the person I am!⁠

I came to the University of South Dakota due to the inviting atmosphere, great scholarships, and competitive academics. Choosing a college is one of the most difficult decisions. I visited 9 different universities across the country throughout my junior and senior years of high school.
