I Found My Niche at Albany State University

My time at ASU has been a blast. I’ve never been a social butterfly, but when I arrived at Albany, everything changed. Everyone was so welcoming and nice that I didn’t know whether to be happy or scared, but everyone really stands together like a true family.

I Found My Niche at Norfolk State University

The pandemic has been a life-changing time. It has allowed me to heal up and reflect on my time here and my purpose. I didn’t have the best season last year, and I wasn’t healthy due to a nagging back injury. I caught up on reading books and watched inspirational people and was able to strengthen my mind even beyond where it was at because I was on a break.

I Found My Niche at Brandeis University

Brandeis, however, changed my application status from international to domestic without batting an eye! They have an amazing support system for students like me, and I honestly feel very safe and secure studying at this prestigious university that has too many resources to remember!

I Found My Niche at Lewis University

Starting at Lewis (where the first 2.5 years of the program take place) allowed me many opportunities that would not have been offered at larger or science-focused schools. During my first semester, I was recruited for a student competition team, I was able to start undergraduate research during my second semester of my first year, and I have made such strong connections with the faculty that I now have forever mentors.

I Found My Niche at William Jessup University

My favorite thing about Jessup is the community. Jessup is a Christian university and I have grown in my faith so much since coming here. The love of God is so evident on campus as everyone strives to love and accept everyone, no matter what their past is or what is going on in their life right now.

I Found My Niche at Alabama A&M University

My school is not perfect but it is my school and it’s a wonderful fit for me and others in the community. My last semester was one I will never forget even though COVID-19 took away some of my experiences.
