My name is Tyron Davis. I chose Johnson C. Smith University because it is located in a city that is filled with opportunities and connections.

I chose IUPUI because it is in the city. I want to expose myself to a new environment that is away from the one I have always known as it will allow me to think critically on my own and to become an independent girl!⁠

This is my first year at SAU and my entire time here has been great! I chose to attend SAU because I love my HBCU, and I didn’t want to go to a big university.

I chose RWU because of the beautiful location, the amazing job opportunities, the welcoming community, and the overall positive atmosphere. I am currently majoring in Psychology with a minor in Educational Studies in hopes of becoming a mental health counselor one day!⁠

The family vibes and comfort I feel being on campus is why I chose CMSV. I remember being on campus for accepted students day and I felt welcomed and met some of my closest friends that day. CMSV is a small college, which I love.

This semester, I decided to take my education on a different route and part take in Semester at Sea! Semester at Sea is a study abroad program for college students who wish to travel the world and learn how to better themselves by engaging cross culturally with the world around them.

With Lincoln University being the oldest HBCU the culture is unmatched. From learning about our famous alumni like Langston Hughes and Gil Scott heron to connecting with our current successful alumni, Lincoln University produces nothing but greatness.⁠

Since 8th grade, it has always been a dream of mine to not only attend an HBCU but also to go to Morgan State, so when I got the news I was VERY EXCITED! ⁠
