So I absolutely love being a student at Texas State University. I love the campus and the overall vibe is very mellow. It’s a good mix of people who are academically driven and then those who are more socially driven.

Johnson and Wales University is known mainly for its Culinary or Hospitality schools but their Engineering and Science majors are also doing great things!
During my time here at the University I have enjoyed my time meeting new friends and getting involved on campus such as a UK101 peer instructor, Freshman Orientation leader, and the president of the Mu Omicron chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated.
I’ve had a lot of amazing experiences during my 4 years at Valley. Playing softball with my teammates has helped me make a lot of lifelong friends.
Salve is an incredible place to make friends and it’s never boring. Just this year, I’ve been to 2 concerts, a masquerade ball in a gilded age mansion, and countless other amazing on campus events. Salve is also on the ocean, so I always go to the beach or into Newport with my friends when the weather is nice.
I chose Bryant for a few reasons. One, the campus is absolutely beautiful and the walk to anything is under 10 minutes. Two, because it really did feel like home, I was extremely nervous coming into Bryant because I was worried I was not going to like the school.
Before I visited IWU, I did not expect to end up here. I actually told my mom on my visit, ‘I don’t know why we’re visiting here. I’m not going here.’
FMU opened its arms to me when I first came from the Dominican Republic to pursue a degree in computer sciences. I quickly fell in love with its people and diversity; its staff has always provided me with a family-like treatment and helped me by putting me in a position to achieve greater things.
As someone that grew up in a small town I really enjoyed the small class sizes with ratios of 13 students to one professor. I find my relationships with my professors and staff is close-knit and they genuinely care about you!
